Extreme Sandbox Hosts Shark Tank Alumni Event For Charity – Come ask the questions you’ve always wanted while raising money for children in need

HASTINGS, Minn. (Sept. 26, 2016) – Entrepreneurs and other curious minds who have wanted to chat it up with ABC-TV Shark Tank alumni will soon get their chance, while helping a noble cause. On Sunday, Oct. 9, from 10am-2pm, fellow alum Randy Stenger, CEO/founder of Hastings-based Extreme Sandbox, will host a public event and fundraiser with other well-known show participants including Katie Sanchez of Bee Free Honee®, also of Minnesota. Owners of Nohbo, VP Cabs, Illumibowl and Nerdwax will also be on site to share their experience and display their products.

“One of my favorite parts of the Shark Tank experience was meeting other entrepreneurs. There’s a shared energy, passion and real support for one another,” said Stenger. “That’s why I’m really excited about this event. We have a strong network of alumni and I thought, ‘why not bring this group together with other like-minded people, their families and friends, in-person, in a really big way at the Sandbox.”

Charity is top of mind for these entrepreneurs as well. 100% of event proceeds will support Crescent Cove as it seeks to build the Midwest’s first residential children’s hospice and respite home providing palliative and end-of-life care to kids and families. Crescent Cove, a Minnesota non-profit organization, offers care and support to children and youth with life-threatening conditions. Its families, staff and supporters will be at the event.

Come check out the equipment, enjoy kid activities and talk to alumni — all while interacting with inspiring families so thankful for the community’s support. Attendees can pre-register as a VIP ($100) to get an actual mini equipment experience during the event, exclusive access to alumni, and be entered into a drawing for a chance to crush a junk car during the Grand Finale and get $100 worth of SandBUCKS! All online and in-person donations make you eligible for an incredible Extreme Crescent Cove Adventure Package. For details, visit http://www.extremesandbox.com/shark-tank-alumni-event.

“We have done many events for, and with, Crescent Cove and we couldn’t be more proud to continue to support their mission as they care for children around the Midwest,” Stenger said.
